Founded in 1892 GIA is the oldest insurance agency in Galveston County and has offices in Galveston and Friendswood. GIA has been recognized nationally as a Best Practices Independent Insurance Agency and a Best Places to Work in Insurance and a Best Places to Work for Women. Most of our clients are commercial clients and we have many personal lines clients primary and secondary homes insured. We write more wind and flood insurance than any independent agency in Texas and have survived every hurricane since the 1900 storm.
