Marty Miles
Marty Miles is a seasoned hospitality executive with more than 45 years of leadership experience spanning hotels, restaurants, gaming, tourism and destination management. He currently serves as CEO of the Galveston Park Board of Trustees, where he oversees tourism promotion, coastal operations, coastal projects and destination stewardship while managing millions of dollars in hotel occupancy tax revenues, federal funding and beach user fees for Galveston Island.
Recognized for his leadership and industry expertise, Miles was selected to serve as Interim CEO of the Galveston Park Board of Trustees in July 2025 during a pivotal period of organizational transition and accepted the CEO position six months later.
Prior to joining the Park Board, Miles served as Complex General Manager for Galveston’s landmark Hotel Galvez & Spa, The Tremont House and Harbor House Hotel & Marina, where the properties consistently ranked among market leaders in revenue performance, guest satisfaction, online reputation and community engagement.
Miles also founded CASINO FABS LLC, a hospitality consulting firm advising casinos, resorts, hotels, restaurants and convention centers on operations, concept development, staffing and strategic growth.
At Harrah’s Entertainment (now Caesars Entertainment), Miles led the company’s food and beverage division during a period of significant national expansion. During his tenure, the company grew from 70 to more than 260 restaurants and lounges nationwide, with Miles overseeing more than 22,000 associates and $1.3 billion in food and beverage revenue.
His hospitality leadership experience also includes corporate C-suite executive roles with Wyndham Hotels, Richfield Hospitality Services and DoubleTree Hotels & Resorts, as well as ownership and operation of five successful restaurants in Indianapolis.
A Certified Hotel Administrator and Certified Food & Beverage Executive, Miles has served in numerous hospitality and community leadership roles, including Chair of the Galveston Hotel & Lodging Association, President of the Galveston Restaurant Association, Board Member of the Texas Restaurant Association, Chair of the Galveston College Hospitality School Advisory Board, Board Member of the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce and member of the Galveston Park Board’s Tourism Development Advisory Committee. He has also been a featured speaker at the UCLA Hotel Investment Conference and the New York Hotel Investment Conference.
